22nd Conference of the International Graphonomics Society (IGS 2025)

We cordially invite you to the 22nd Conference of the International Graphonomics Society (IGS 2025), held at Polytechnique Montréal, Canada, from June 16 to 19, 2025, under the theme Investigating Human Movements - Handwriting and Beyond. This conference is the premier forum for presenting new advances and research results in graphonomics and in human movement at large from an interdisciplinary point of view.

This prestigious conference is organized to provide an international platform for academics, researchers, and professionals. It allows students to share their research findings with global and experienced experts.

We will cover wide-ranging subjects in our field: neurosciences; movement generation, analysis and recognition; motor control; medical, sports an kinesiology applications; movement disorders; forensic and security applications; creativity and cultural heritage applications; and robotics applications, to name but a few.

We are pleased to welcome you in the vibrant city of Montréal, Canada’s second-largest city and the metropolis of the province of Quebec, renowned for its international flavour and inspiring diversity. With a solid tech sector supported by a dynamic ecosystem, Montréal is leading the way in many high-value sectors and has firmly established itself as a global artificial intelligence leader.

The IGS 2025 Conference will provide a venue for intellectual and enlightening discussions of ideas. We anticipate that your participation and contributions will continue to strengthen the long and proud tradition of this international, scientific, and multidisciplinary community. 

IGS 2025 presenting authors will be invited to submit a long version of their accepted 4-page abstracts to special issues of selected journals. Specific guidelines will be published later on this website. 

Also, different Student Prizes will be awarded at the Conference.
